Maplelawn Rising Aces offers seasonal beginner and intermediate programs designed to build foundations, boost confidence, and use age-appropriate drills aligned with the USTA Net Generation approach to help children progress toward tournament-ready skills

Grades 1 & 2

Build coordination, balance, and basic racket skills through play-based activities

Use modified equipment (smaller courts, low-compression balls) to ensure success

Emphasize fun, confidence, and love for the game over results

Grades 3, 4 & 5
Middle School

Refine stroke mechanics and footwork as bodies grow and coordination improves

Learn point construction, shot selection, and consistency

Introduce structured match play with age-appropriate scoring formats

High School

Strengthen advanced technique and all-court skills

Develop strategy, mental toughness, and competitive habits

Prepare players for full-court play, traditional scoring, and higher-level competition

Program Overview

Develop sound fundamentals on forehand, backhand, serve, and movement

Learn to rally, control the ball, and recover to ready position

Introduce simple tactics and game situations in a supportive environment

Provides a mix of athletic development, skill-building, and gameplay, focusing on athletic foundations and core tennis fundamentals, all structured within the designated program timings noted below.

Optional Tuesday Open Play

30-minute coach supervised sessions with focus on rallying and consistency, reinforcing growth through repetition, all structured within the designated program timings noted below.

Maplelawn Rising Aces seasonal program starts in Spring from 04/10/2026 to 05/26/2026, offering a structured 1-hour coaching session on Fridays, with an optional 30-minute practice on Tuesdays for accelerated improvement.

Program Fee & Location

  • $210 for a seven week spring coaching program

  • Additional $60 for a six week point play program

  • $20 registration fee per year

  • Total amount is due upon enrollment
